Although many of us start each new year in frigid temperatures, the beginning of the year is also a great time to dream about what’s to come. For instance, all the adventures we want to have in the coming year, the various locations we want to visit, natural wonders we want to see and people we want to reconnect with. And if 2023 is the year you plan to buy a new RV, the beginning of the year is a great time to start researching different models to find the perfect fit.
We’re introducing several new travel trailer models for 2023. So if you’re looking for options that are on the shorter or lighter end of RVs, take a look at our newest floor plans and features below.
Travel Trailers
North Trail
As one of our ultra-lite travel trailers, North Trail is a great choice for anyone relatively new to RVing or towing. With 20 current floor plans, you have your pick of models starting under 5,000 lbs. dry weight, models from less than 23 feet to nearly 40 feet long, with beds to sleep solo or couple campers, or as many as nine or ten. There’s truly something for everyone, whether you’re traveling light, or with extended family or a group of friends.
The all-new North Trail 26RLX comes in at just over 6,000 lbs. dry weight, and can sleep up to six people in 251 square feet. A front bedroom holds a king-size gel-infused mattress, while a rear living area has a full-booth dinette along a back wall with a huge window – great for letting in some sunshine. In the Dream kitchen, you’ll find stainless steel appliances, solid surface countertops and hardwood cabinets. We’ve added a 10 cu.ft. refrigerator and our exclusive new air fryer oven so you can make delicious meals on the road (without having to bring extra appliances). And outside, an exterior kitchen, power awning, outdoor showers and speakers turn your campsite into a lovely patio where you can relax in the fresh air.
In the North Trail 27BHG, we’ve added one of our favorite new configurations – a bunkhouse with two bunks, where the lower one can flip up to transform the space into storage for oversized cargo. Go ahead, bring your bikes, bring a kayak or two, there’s plenty of room when you’re on the road. And then when you park, flip the bunk back down, and the coach can sleep up to six total guests. Not bad! The middle kitchen features a stainless steel microwave, refrigerator and single basin sink, plus our new three-burner glass range with our exclusive air fryer oven. A 26-inch fireplace and 50-inch HDTV create a cozy living space opposite the kitchen, and WiFi prep means you can stream your favorite music or movies whenever you like.
If you love to entertain, the front living room of North Trail 29FLR has a great layout for guest, with three generous seating areas surrounding a 26- inch fireplace and entertainment system. A televator stows away the 50-inch HDTV at the push of a button, so you can better access the front window for natural light or a cross-breeze. In the kitchen, solid surface countertops frame a wide, single-basin, stainless steel sink with a high-rise faucet that makes it easy to wash even your biggest pots and pans.
There’s a generous pantry near the door, a residential microwave and stainless steel fridge, and a glass-top range with our new air fryer oven. The bathroom separates the rear bedroom from the living area, creating an added layer of privacy. And you’ll sleep like royalty on the king-sized gel-infused mattress, with plenty of storage on either side of the bed for your clothing and personal items.
Prowler
You may already know that the Prowler is the best-selling RV model of all time – from any brand. But even if you didn’t, it’s easy to see how Prowler earned the title. Offering excellent value, solid reliability, and many floor plans to choose from, it’s an accessible option for just about anyone. And new for 2023, our Prowler models are built with laminated sidewalls, and now use Azdel composite within the construction of the sidewall increasing the longevity of your RV. Even its smallest models, starting under 23 feet long and 4000 lbs. dry weight, have options to sleep up to eight people. And there’s still room for plenty of crowd-pleasing amenities, proving Prowler packs a punch, no matter its size.
With an open concept floor plan, the Prower 250SBH feels light and airy inside. A curtain in the master bedroom can separate the sleeping area from the rest of the coach at night, cordoning off the residential-size queen bed. The convertible sofa and double bed bunkhouse allow you to sleep up to eight people, and the galley-style kitchen has enough storage to hold food for the whole crew. Speaking of storage, the MEGA Bright pass-through storage holds an incredible 52 cu.ft. of cargo, with extra large access doors, LED lights and a finished interior to protect your possessions. And push-button set-up makes it easy to set your power stabilizer jacks, adjustable power awning and power-lighted tongue jack in mere moments, so you can go straight to relaxing at your campsite.
A coach that sleeps up to 6 people should have a little something special for the whole gang, and the Prowler 292SRK delivers. With a power awning and an outdoor kitchen that includes both a griddle and mini fridge, you can flip pancakes while enjoying the great outdoors – or while the lazybones in the group sleep in. An At Home kitchen inside comes with a double-door fridge with a freezer, and a stainless steel sink, microwave and air fryer oven/glass cooktop combo. The U-shaped booth maximizes seating around the table, with an additional sofa and two reclining chairs in the living area. To store all your personal effects, there are three wardrobes in the master bedroom, and to store all your cargo, a huge pass-through basement storage compartment gives you tons of room to pack all your favorite outdoor equipment.
Big family? Lots of friends? Lucky you. The Prowler 323SBR is one of our longer travel trailers, with room to sleep up to eight people and plenty of floor space to spread out. A bunk room offers dual double beds, with a lower bunk that converts into storage for larger items as needed, and washer/dryer prep on the opposite wall. The master bedroom has a standard king bed, plus overhead cabinets and a wardrobe for your things, and an entertainment center with TV prep. A dinette booth and sofa face the electric fireplace in the living area, with TV and cable prep above, so you can add the system of your choice. In the kitchen, a pantry and generous stainless steel fridge offer tons of food storage, and the microwave, three-burner cooktop and new air fryer oven ensures your meals are cooked to perfection.
Sundance
If you’re looking for an ultra-lite travel trailer that makes clever use of its space to offer delightful amenities, look no further than Sundance. Offering nearly two dozen floor plans, you can choose from models with slide-outs, bunkhouses, secondary half-baths and more. And because Sundance starts at around 4000 lbs. dry weight and 25 feet long, it offers maximum flexibility when it comes to tow vehicles, making it the perfect choice for anyone just getting into RVing.
The Sundance 19HB may measure less than 23 feet long on the outside, but thanks to a few tricks, it’s surprisingly accommodating inside. A hatch door on the back wall lifts up to allow you to store and secure cargo like bikes or kayaks while you’re in motion. And the same space transforms into the dinette area when you’re parked, letting you enjoy meals with fresh air but under a roof.
A TV on a sliding mechanism stores behind the fridge, and can flip all the way around to face both the bedroom or the dinette for maximum flexibility. In the bedroom, there’s a residential-sized queen bed with underbed storage, and a wardrobe where you can hang your clothes to keep the coach tidy. Despite the small footprint, there’s a full bathroom and functional kitchen, so you can camp self-sufficiently, at a campsite or off the grid – and thanks to our new solar prep package, you can add solar panels and an inverter in a snap.
The 21HB is our second new hatch-back floor plan in the Sundance lineup. With two additional feet of length compared to the 19HB, it squeezes in a sofa with a Murphy bed to sleep up to four people. You can remove Dream dinette to load oversized cargo, securing it to the floor ties when it’s time to move. And with an included screen, you can leave the hatch open when you’re parked to get a good cross-breeze. (No mosquitos allowed.) An electric awning with LED light extends to provide outdoor living area, doubling your space to stretch out in good weather, and an outside spray port helps clean off muddy or sandy feet before going inside, so your coach stays clean and comfortable.
Trail Runner
Features like open floor plans and deep slide-outs make Trail Runner a standout among our travel trailer brands. With options for a wide variety of budgets, you’ll always get the kind of amenities and decor you would expect in a higher end coach. Models start under 24 feet long and 4,200 lbs. dry weight – but even the smallest model can sleep up to 8. That’s what Trail Runner is all about, packing every square inch with surprising touches that give you more bang for your buck and make every new adventure feel just a little bit more special.
Speaking of our smallest model, we’re pleased to introduce the Trail Runner 199BHSS. Just 23’ 9 ¾” long, it’s a great choice for anyone new to towing or who wants to downsize into a smaller coach. And in that modest footprint, it holds a queen-sized master bed, a bunkhouse with twin double bunks and a convertible dinette, so you can camp with a partner and six more guests. The bunks lift out of the way to create storage for oversized gear, which you can move in and out of the RV through a play door in the back wall.
In the bathroom, you’ll find a foot-flush toilet and shower with ABS tub/surround, plus a skylight to let in some natural light. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a 10 cu.ft. 12V refrigerator, microwave oven, and a double-basin sink, and you’ll get our exclusive new range with a gas cooktop and air fryer oven. Outdoors, a power awning with LED lights helps create bonus outdoor living space, while the pass-through storage includes a massive, industry-leading 57 cu.ft. of space – completely finished inside to protect all your things.
The Trail Runner 200FBSS is a great choice for anyone who likes to keep things simple. With an airy, open concept layout inside, there’s tons of room to spread out. There’s a queen size bed positioned horizontally at the front of the coach, with overhead cabinets to secure your gear. A built-in cabinet on the back wall offers both pantry space and a wardrobe where you can hang your clothing.
Although the bathroom is cozy, there’s a full shower with a skylight and a window over the sink (with a privacy shade, of course) to flood the space with natural light. And in the kitchen, there’s a dinette, stainless steel appliances and our new exclusive air fryer oven, so you can create delicious meals on the road. Traveling with friends or family? The pull-out couch in the living area transforms into a bed that can sleep two more at a moment’s notice. How simple is that?
