Heartland RV continues to use Azdel Onboard Composite Panels

Industry-leading, towable RV manufacturer Heartland Recreational Vehicles, continues to use Azdel Onboard® in the sidewall construction for all laminated fifth wheels, toy haulers and travel trailers. Manufactured 100% in the U.S., Azdel Onboard composite panels replace previously used wood products.

In 2017, Heartland first started engineering with Azdel composite, and now has converted all their units to be manufactured with Azdel.  To date, Heartland is one of many companies within the industry as well as automotive, utilizing Azdel – exterior sidewall being the most popular application.

“When we introduced this product to the RV industry, we knew it would be a game changer,” shared Azdel’s Marketing Manager.  “Now today, we are expanding options in thickness and applications giving our partners new opportunities.”

The addition of Azdel is beneficial for both manufacturers and retail customers. The composite panels are half the weight of wood material – increasing the durability while lightening the load. They are weather and temperature resistant, odorless and environmentally friendly, which will increase the life of your RV.  Additionally, these panels absorb sound and energy waves reducing the amount of outside noise and providing a more peaceful experience.
