WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT IN THE AREA & WHY?
We do most of our own shopping and cooking because we eat a plant-based diet. The residential-sized fridge in our Road Warrior allows us to stock up on produce. If we do eat out, we love to go to Ole’ Red because they have so many vegan options available on their menu––vegan burgers, chili, nachos, and salads––and their grilled okra is amazing!
WHY DO YOU LIKE IT HERE?
It's just so peaceful. The mountains. The history. Our family has been coming here for decades, and we figured why not create even more special memories by visiting in our RV?
WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE TRAVEL BUDDY & WHY?
Our two-year-old daughter Zea! She loves adventures, playing in the streams, walking the dogs and being outdoors. Seeing her grow and find the beauty of traveling and nature is such a great experience.
WHAT’S ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU HAVE FOR RVERS?
Start before you feel ready. You will never truly be ready, because you are forever learning as you go. We are years into this and STILL learning to this day. So just start with what you can. You may want a big RV, but if you can only afford a smaller one with the current truck you have, get what you can, get started and enjoy the adventures now.
WHO DO YOU WISH YOU COULD SHARE THIS VIEW WITH & WHY?
Fraser's family. He is from New Zealand and his family back there have never seen the U.S. before. It would be amazing and beautiful if someday they could.
