RVers all across the country have spoken! And, it's time to get serious about your holiday shopping for your favorite RV owner or for your own RV! We've read and heard what many RVers, whether full-time, part-time or seasonal, want for their travel trailers or fifth wheels. So, we’ve put together this 20 Best Holiday Gifts for 2018 to take the guesswork out of your holiday shopping woes!

So, let’s get your list started...

RV KITCHEN

Nesting Bowl Set

RVers can always use a few bowls whether they are to hold a bag of chips or mix a salad for dinner. A nesting bowl set is an excellent practical, space-saving and food prep gift. And, if they include a measuring cup set is a bonus!

Plastic Kitchen Cutting Mats

Cutting mats are an important essential in the RV kitchen. They're lightweight, sturdy and flexible so you slightly bend them to pour chopped contents into your bowl or fry pan. Cooks can use them for cutting meats, fruits and vegetables. Perfect for RVs because they are easy to clean and to store.

Collapsible Kitchen Colander

We love our over-the-sink-collapsible colander because we can use it to wash and drain our fresh fruits and vegetables. And since it collapses, we don't have to worry about finding a place for a clunky, odd shaped strainer to store.

Instant Pot

Simply put, you can't go wrong with gifting an RV cook with an Instant Pot. They come in an array of sizes. The smaller 3-quart compact electric pressure cooker is perfect for RV cooking for two or three people! You can make rice, saute, cook rice, make stews or soups, and even yogurt. Check out our Instant Pot Product Review.

Folding Trivets

These are the bomb! We used these inside our RV and outside on the picnic table. They protect the table and countertop from the hot pot. Also, they lift the hot vessel off of the surface. These little guys are heat resistant up to 464-Degree Fahrenheit. Foldable for easier storage. Buy a set and put one in each stocking!

TECH TOYS

RV GPS

Fifth-wheels are the tall boys of Heartland's towable line. With that, it’s wise to own, and know, how to use an RV GPS. Once the operator plugs in their RV height and sets warnings, it will calculate and alert of speed limit changes, sharp curves, low overheads, re-routing, etc.

Cell Phone Signal Booster

We all need cellphone service on the road and sometimes, whether we are boon docking or in a campground or RV park, we need a little more mojo to enhance our signal coverage inside our fifth-wheel. Cell Phone signal boosters are designed to improve communication lines and keep them open to stay connected to loved ones or for work! They ensure better voice and data signal for maximized network connectivity even in the most remote locations!

Tire Minder

Protect your RV with a good smartphone-based tire monitoring system designed specifically for RVs. Once installed and activated, it will alert the vehicle operator of a tire issue using an audible and visual alert. It will also send an alert directly to your iPhone, iPad or Android device.

Cell Phone Battery Charger

Practically everyone has a cell phone these days. For RV travelers, they are extremely necessary to keep in touch with family who are miles away, take lots of photos or video of our travels. There's nothing more disheartening than seeking your phone battery die  in the middle of a picturesque hike. A large capacity cellphone battery charger is a relatively in inexpensive stocking stuffer. Skip the cheap ones though because they don't last and end up landfills quicker. Invest in a large capacity, multi-port battery power bank!

External Hard Drive

It's a known fact that RVers tend to have more data from videos and photos to store. This gift idea will be a hit under the tree! Oh, and the larger the capacity, the better!

CAMPSITE COMFORTS

Camp Chairs

Every travel trailer or fifth-wheel owner needs camp chairs to sit around the campfire or enjoy watching the sunset. Depending on how large your basement storage compartment is will determine how elaborate and large your camp chairs will be. Consider getting folding camp chairs with an attached table, cup holder that's portable so they can be carried easily.

Grilling Tools

Most RV owners love to grill, so gifting an RV owner with a cool BBQ grill tool set will be a solid winner under the tree! Look for a multi-piece set that has everything a grill master needs - including a storage carrying case!

Collapsible Wagon

Wagons aren't made for just kids anymore! For RV owners, they are an essential necessity for carting laundry, picking up large shipment packages at the campground office, taking it to the beach or taking your camp chairs and potluck goodies to the RV park activity center.

Water Tank Cleaning and Rinsing Wand

This is a great stocking stuffer that won't kill your wallet but is worth a million bucks! A RV Water Heater Tank Rinser helps extend the life of your water heater. The rinser lifts sediment that collects at the bottom of your hot water heater and washes it out of your water heater tank. Just hook a garden hose to the rinser and insert it into the water heater drain. The rinser has a shut off valve as well.

Dry Graphite

Every RV tool kit should have dry lube spray. When used correctly, it reduces wear to extend equipment life, and creates a quick-drying film that provides long-lasting lubrication. It's recommended as a general maintenance lubricant on gaskets, transfer belts and conveyor belts. Also, for use for high temperature, low load, locks, rollers, wheels, gears, chains and hoists. This would make a great stocking stuffer!

Spray Silicone

Another must-have for the RV tool kit! Spray silicone lubricates and eliminates squeaking and binding caused by friction. It leaves a clean film that is highly resistant to water. Use on nylon, rubber, metal and non-metal surfaces. Perfect for applications exposed to the elements. Wrap a can of this up and slap a bow on it!

RV ACCESSORIES

Leveling Blocks

Sometimes we end up in a campsite that is a tad bit unleveled. Stackable leveling blocks help with that. Their modular designed levelers not only configure to fit any leveling function, but they also withstand tremendous weight. To use: simply set them into a pyramid shape to the desired height that the RV needs to be raised and drive onto the stack. The levelers can also be used as a support base for other stabilizing equipment.

SnapPads

Every RV owner should have these, especially if they park on solid asphalt or concrete surfaces either long term or for overnights. They protect the surface below. No more positioning jackpads or levelers under your RV or storing dirty blocks or boards. Durable and long lasting, SnapPads can withstand extreme weather and environmental conditions. RV SnapPads increase the stability and weight distribution of your rig, while protecting your jack foot from rust and other damage. For more info, read our product review on RV SnapPads.

Fifth-Wheel Kingpin Lock

We bought this as soon as we bought our fifth-wheel. It gives piece of mind when we boon dock or park in less than desirable lots. This universal design locks onto most fifth-wheel kingpin to deter theft of fifth-wheel trailers. It's manufactured with a strong aluminum body for reliable security.

So, that wraps up our gift suggestion list for RVs and RV owners. We hope this gives you some great leads as to what is on Santa's list this year. But don't stop here. There are so many more RV toys you or your favorite RVer can dream about.

Merry Shopping!
